Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SoCal Roofers collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, call us on (909) 963-9450 and ask.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into the inspection request form, plus basic technical information your browser sends to any website you visit.
- Contact details: your first and last name, phone number and email address.
- Property details: the address of the property, whether you own it, what is happening with the roof, the type of work you are after, your timeline, and the best time of day to reach you.
- Consent record: that you agreed to be contacted, and when.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed.
We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, Social Security numbers, or any other sensitive personal information through this website.
How we use it
- To contact you about the free roof inspection you requested and to schedule it.
- To look at the property on satellite imagery before we come out, so the visit is useful.
- To prepare and send you a quote if you want one.
- To send you service messages about a job, such as appointment reminders and crew arrival times.
- To follow up on a quote we have given you.
- To tell you about our other services, seasonal maintenance and offers we think are relevant to your property.
- To keep our own records and to meet legal and warranty obligations.
Text messages and calls
Our inspection form requires you to confirm that we may call about the inspection you requested. That call acknowledgement is separate from text messaging. The two text-message checkboxes both start unticked, and neither one is required. You can submit the form and receive a call without agreeing to either kind of text message.
The first checkbox covers text messages about the job you asked us about: confirming your appointment, telling you when the crew is on the way, and following up on your quote.
The second checkbox is separate and covers marketing. That means occasional offers and seasonal maintenance reminders. Agreeing to messages about your own job does not sign you up for marketing, and refusing marketing does not affect any work we do for you.
Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP or OUT to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can also just call us and ask to be removed.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who make this business run, and only with what they need to do their job:
- Our customer and scheduling system, which stores your request.
- Our phone, text and email providers, which deliver our messages to you.
- Anyone we are legally required to share with, such as in response to a valid legal request.
Analytics and advertising
We may use analytics and advertising tools to understand how people find and use this site, and to measure our advertising. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep inspection requests and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, to honor warranty obligations, and to meet our legal and accounting requirements. When we no longer need them, we delete them or strip out anything that identifies you.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law.

Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we will tell you if something happens that we are required to report.
Children
This website is meant for adults arranging work on property. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
